Show Notes

In this episode of the Find Calm Here Podcast, I chat with Jason Moore, the co-founder of Location Indie, a Mighty Network for those seeking to leave the 9-5 life and become location independent. This interview is the first in a three-part series providing an in-depth look at the Location Indie community through interviews with the host, a community member, and the community manager.

Jason and his co-founder created Location Indie, which launched with just a few members and currently has over 300 members in their Mighty Network. He’s also the host of the Zero to Travel Podcast, where he interviews travelers who experience the world differently and live on their own terms.

I’ve had the benefit of being a member of the Location Indie community and have met Jason in person, so we discuss our experiences building a community, and he provides helpful tips for Mighty Network Hosts who want to launch a community on the platform with energy, focus, and authenticity. 20:42 Jason shares his take on building a community from zero without an email or client list, offers honest experiences that have helped him along the way, and how he built partnerships with people to build and grow his networks for expanding his audience.
